Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This rugged melodrama was based on Jack London's last novel. Joe Holland (Walter Perry) is the superintendent of the Lucky 13 mine. Gold ore has been missing lately, and he's trying to discover who the culprit is. He rescues his sick friend, Weadon Scott (Theodore Von Eltz), from wolves. Scott falls for Holland's daughter, Mollie (Ruth Dwyer), but she is already promised to Frank Wilde, one of the mine's foremen (Matthew Betz). Wilde has bought White Fang, a supposedly man-killing dog (Strongheart), and pits him against a bulldog. Scott rescues White Fang. Mollie, meanwhile, weds Wilde and discovers that he is the one who has been stealing the ore. Although Wilde kills Holland and thrashes Scott, he's no match for White Fang who proves his man-killing capabilities. Now widowed, Mollie is free to wed Scott. This story was filmed 11 years later as a talkie.
