In this strangely erotic film, authorities look into the bizarre death of a notorious sadomasochist who had been involved with four women. One of them is indeed the killer and by the story's end it is revealed that she had been secretly married to him. He blackmailed her into accepting his cruel philandering, and she went along with it until he announced that he was going to marry another woman.
