Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

This very low-budget silent Western was one in a series of oaters starring former Universal cowboy Ted Wells under a new moniker: Pawnee Bill Jr. The series was developed by one-legged Gower Gulch marvel Robert J. Horner, and is often regarded as the nadir of silent Western filmmaking. Stunt rider Ione Reed was the leading lady and the bad guys were played by Boris Bullock (aka Kit Carson or William Barrymore) and the always watchable Bud Osborne. Where the West Begins was photographed by Jack Draper and edited by William Austin.
