Doctor Hicksey (David G. Fischer) runs two island hospitals off the Australian coast. Adventurer John Sherwin (Arthur Behrens) is in charge of the men on one of the islands. Alice Desmond (Dixie Lee) comes to the islands as chief nurse, and she and the two men are the only white people around. She and the doctor become involved, but she comes to hate him because he devotes all his time to research and neglects her. Sherwin tries to win her over, but she snubs him and tells the doctor of his advances. The two men trek through the jungle, each one intending to kill the other. Finally Sherwin appears and tells Alice that he has killed the doctor, so Alice decides to marry him. This strange film was adapted from a novel by E.L. Grant Watson and was directed by Fischer.
