Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Marie Watson (Baby Marie Osborne) finds her life in turmoil when her parents divorce. Her mother Janet (Margaret Nichols) becomes unhappy because her husband John (Fred Newburg) spends all his time attending to business. When society man George Melvin (Lee Hill) begins paying more attention to Janet than John feels is proper, the couple separate. John wins custody of little Marie, who becomes obsessed with the nightly prayer her mother used to start for her. Meanwhile, Watson's butler grows devoted to Marie, and when she comes down with a serious illness, he's determined to help. The doctor says there's little hope for the girl unless she sees her mother, so the butler goes against Watson's wishes and fetches Janet, who rushes to the child's side. John, concerned over his daughter's health, dashes home and finds Janet there; Marie implores her father to let her mother come home.
