A retired, unmarried billionaire contends with his haughty sister and his new dog while stumbling into a series of comic complications due to his questionable relationship with a young, gay advertising virtuoso. Paul Greco (Jon Lindstrom) has just retired. Concerned that her big brother will grow lonesome without a companion to share his golden years with, Paul's sister Elise (Wendie Malick) bestows him a dog. Meanwhile, as Paul begins taking his four legged friend on walks through the park, he strikes up a casual friendship with Andy (Chris Murrah), a successful, self-employed advertiser who just so happens to be gay. But their relationship starts to get complicated when Elise's gay son Brian (Ariel Shafir) comes back into the picture after years of estrangement, and Andy's adopted sister Roz (Natalia Cigliuti) voices serious concerns over her sibling's fascination with the much older, and admittedly straight, Paul.
