Synopsis by Perry Seibert
The documentary What God Hath Wrought examines the creation of the Calvary Chapel, a church created by Chuck Smith that sought to modernize and simplify religious worship. The parish became so successful that it started a wave of religious revivalism that borrowed from the trappings of hippie culture and had a profound effect on numerous churches throughout the country.
