Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Nearing the end of his brief starring career, Lester Cuneo plays a ranch foreman battling his employer's son for a valuable government contract in this low-budget silent western produced by poverty row's Ward Lascelles. Lascelles obtained a fine supporting cast for this film, including the motherly Raye Hampton and grizzled sidekick Lafe McKee, but ran into the usual obstacles plaguing independent westerns: poor distribution. The few who actually saw Western Grit didn't much care for it, however.
