Synopsis by Perry Seibert

The first film from filmmaking partners Markus Mischkowski and Kai Maria Steinkuehler, Westend is a comedy about friends who take part in an unusual business. Best friends Mike (Mischkowski) and Alfred (Steinkuehler) are almost out of funds. They are convinced by Rasto (Jens Claussen) to move into an abandoned building and begin selling food and groceries. They have success after a scheme involving the alteration of traffic patterns, but their relationship changes for the worse in the business setting. Rasto's debts cause the trio to fear attack from some toughs. This black-and-white film was shot in 16 mm.
