Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Directed by a former slapstick comic, the French-born Marcel Perez (aka Fernandez Perez), this low-budget silent Western starred Pete Morrison as Harry Atteridge, a rancher who is unaware that his land contains valuable mineral deposits. A crooked lawyer (Robert H. Grey) and a greedy widow (Gene Crosby) work together to trap Atteridge into marrying the latter's daughter (Renée Danti). When Atteridge instead prefers his sister's governess (Dorothy Woods), the villains kidnap the girl. This Sanford Production was released by Arrow Film Corp. to small town theaters only.
