In 1802, an act of Congress established the United States Military Academy at West Point, and in the two centuries since it opened, it has earned a reputation for academic excellence and for training some of the nation's greatest military minds. West Point: The First 200 Years is a documentary produced for PBS which offers a detailed look at the history and tradition behind America's most distinguished military academy, and the changes and challenges that point the way to West Point's future.
