Synopsis by Sandra Brennan

This New Zealand documentary, made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the end of WW II, presents the reminiscences of seven women as they reflect on the effect the Great War had on their lives. Each of the subjects are photographed against a plain black backdrop and as they share, anecdotes, archival film clips, photographs, and music from the era are seen and heard.
