Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Even though WWI was over and done with in December 1918, the "Hate the Hun" propaganda films continued to be inflicted on a war-weary public. Wanted for Murder refers to Kaiser Wilhelm, whom the film targets for arrest on the charge of crimes against humanity. Specifically, the Kaiser must be brought to bear for the outrages perpetrated upon innocent Frenchwoman Corinee (Elaine Hammerstein), who -- thank heaven! -- is saved from violation by the timely arrival of American troops. The final scene showed the craven Kaiser fleeing to the safety of Holland. Vaudeville favorites Irene Franklin and Burton Green made guest appearances as the stars of an overseas theatrical unit.
