Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Eminent Broadway actor-playwright-manager James K. Hackett was credited with the direction of The Walls of Jericho, adapted from one of Hackett's previous stage successes. Edmund Breese took over the leading role as the sheriff in a wide-open Montana town. Though the original play (written by Alfred Sutro was set in Australia, the story was malleable enough to work in its new surroundings. The film's dramatic high point finds sheriff Breese heading to London to track down a slippery miscreant.
