Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Filmmaker Susan Froemke documents Robert Lepage's controversial staging of Wagner's so-called "unstageable" opera Ring. The 45-ton set proved incredibly difficult to transport from Quebec to New York, where soprano Deborah Voigt experienced a number of technical difficulties during her turn in the role of Brunhilde.
