Synopsis by Janiss Garza
When Teddy Bimms (Lillian Drew) is left destitute in the big city, she goes through several stenographer jobs, but loses each one when she turns down the advances of the boss. Finally, she gives in to millionaire merchant Abraham Cleverman (Ernest Maupain). Cleverman's wife (Florence Oberie) throws a huge coming-out party for her daughter Eloise (Marguerite Clayton), and Teddy insists that she get an invitation. She is given one under the name Senorita Theodora deMenza. Teddy's former neighbor, jewel thief Raymond Raphael (E.H. Calvert, who also directed), kidnaps Prince Aggregio (Hugh Thompson) and attends the party disguised as the prince himself. Teddy runs into him there and discovers what he's after, but keeps quiet. Eloise, bored with the festivities, goes in search of her Bohemian friends and is kidnapped. With the help of detective Gripp (Edward Arnold), Teddy saves both Eloise and the Prince. Cleverman decides he wants to break up with Teddy, and she agrees, on the condition that she receive half a million dollars and a coffee plantation. With her loot, she starts a new life as the wife of Prince Aggregio.
