Chilean-born director German Becker travels throughout South America to celebrate local songs, dances and customs. The tour shows old churches and castles along with the splendor of Lake Titicaca and other scenes of nature. Folk songs are provided by Pedro Vargas, Chabuca Granda, Pedro Messone and others. Despite being an exploration of local culture, reviewers found this home-grown feature to be amazingly flat and unevocative.
