Synopsis by Alice Day
While many think of fjords at the mention of Norway, much more awaits the visitor to this pristine land. In the Land of the Midnight Sun, long summer days allow plenty of time to explore the attractions of the urban areas as well as the pleasures of the wilderness. Video Visits: Norway -- Nature's Triumph investigates Oslo, the country's largest city, and home to the Akershus Fortress, a 14th century structure complete with dungeons. Oslo's Vigeland Park is a lush setting for life-sized statues by Gustav Vigeland, and footage of Geiranger Fjord gives the viewer an idea of the lovely scenery of Norway.
