Synopsis by Sandra Brennan

In this drama, an African American man is sentenced to die for a crime he didn't commit, and he takes his case to a higher court presided over by a Jewish judge who ignores the racism surrounding the case and gives the man a fair trial. This doesn't set well with the community and the judge must endure threats against him and his family. At one point they suffer a bombing. Still, the judge listens to the evidence and uses his gut feeling to acquit the man. Though his career ends up destroyed, the judge is at peace because he knows he has done the right thing.
