Not to be confused with Shohei Imamura's masterpiece of the same name, this film -- directed by Lee Chi-ngai -- is a straight-ahead rape/revenge thriller à la I Spit on Your Grave. One evening after work, young nurse Jane Li (Rosamund Kwan Chi-lam) is kidnapped and gang raped by a band of car thieves. Her life is spared when a taxi driver named Ko (Derek Yee Tung-sing) comes to her rescue. Though he is willing to sign an affidavit about the attack, Jane refuses to report the incident to the police. Later, the thugs show up again and assail Jane's dweeby boyfriend Tom (Tom Poon Chun-wai). In the melee, Jane ends up killing one of the criminals. Though the cops exonerate her for the murder, her boyfriend quickly breaks up with her while the thieves vow revenge.
