synopsis
Also known as Iron Man, this Hungarian operetta was written directly for the screen by composers Karoly Stephanides, Zoltan Martonffi and Gyorgy Pan. Gyula Gozon stars as Gyozo, the playboy nephew of iron magnate Tamas Balla (Jeno Torzs). Hoping to sow a few wild oats before his marriage to Matyika (Ida Turay), Gyozo heads to Monte Carlo, adopting the alias of Vittorio. Here he becomes fascinated with a beautiful but mysterious Lilly (Iren Demko). Upon returning to Budapest, Gyozo discovers that his heretofore undemonstrative uncle Tamas has fallen in love with his nephew's bride-to-be Matyika. This mess is cleared up when Lilly unexpectedly arrives in Budapest, leading to a joyous double-wedding finale.
