Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
In this Russian war drama, set during WW I, a 14-year old kitchen boy begins setting up a youth underground after he is inspired by a partisan sailor. He establishes the network to combat the occupying German army. When the sailor is captured by police, the boy leaves the underground to save him. He then returns to the Red Army and saves his friends, who are about to be hanged.
