In a future where everyone’s private actions and memories are recorded, crime has effectively been eliminated. That is until detective Sal Frieland (Clive Owen) investigates an anonymous assassin who is able to hack human minds to erase their crimes. Sal finds another recordless person known simply as The Girl (Amanda Seyfried), who could either be the mastermind or a fellow target. Sal’s grip on reality starts to slip as the killer torments him by altering his vision in real-time as well as tampering with his memories. Directed by Andrew Niccol.
