Synopsis by Cammila Collar
This drama by Shawkat Amin Korki is set just after the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003. It finds two Kurdish men looking for the parents of a lost five-year-old boy who is also, coincidently, named Saddam. At the same time, the child's parents are looking for him as well, but they meet with difficulty as they call his name, which has suddenly become taboo. It seems that neither soldiers, nor civilians, nor religious leaders are willing to help the little boy, who is caught within a tumult of violence.
