Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Produced by Hal Roach, this series of ten, two-reel melodramas featured "flapper" star Edna Murphy as ten different examples of "the modern woman." Murphy, who later married and divorced director Mervyn LeRoy, was supported by Charley Chase (playing it straight for once and billed under his real name, Charles Parrott), Roach crony Percy Pembroke, stage veteran William Gillette, upcoming light leading man Glenn Tryon, and serial menace Frank Lackteen. Written by Frank Howard Clark, each episode told a separate story.
