In this Indian drama, Alice is the wife of a college teacher. They are Catholic and have two children. Theirs has seemed an untroubled marriage, right up to the point where her husband disappears. Up until that moment, she had been living her life through him and her children. When her husband disappears, though, she skillfully uses everything she learned about him over the years as clues to help her discover him. In this, she is successful - but once she finds the scoundrel, she realizes that she doesn't want him back. What's more, she's discovered that she is a capable, independent woman, and she doesn't need a replacement for him, either.
