Synopsis by Hal Erickson
A brutal murder occurs in a Brooklyn neighborhood populated by Hassidic Jews. One of three teenaged bigots arrested for the crime is himself killed shortly afterward -- and his body bears the fingerprints of his dead victim. Mulder is convinced that the avenging killer was not a human being, but instead the legendary golem, a Frankenstein's monster-like creation. Steeping himself in Jewish folklore, Mulder stumbles upon the only method of preventing the golem from striking again. Written by Howard Gordon, "Kaddish" first aired February 16, 1997.
