Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The titular town in this X-Files drama is not Grovers Corners, but instead the tiny community of Dudley, AR. The town's main business is a meat-packing company, which immediately falls under the scrutiny of Mulder and Scully as they investigate the disappearance of a local citizen. The agents ultimately learn to their shock and disgust that Dudley is the home of a cannibalistic cult who has discovered a gruesome method of slowing down the aging process. Originally seen on May 12, 1995, "Our Town" was written by Frank Spotnitz.
