synopsis
Making its American premiere at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival, Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels (already a huge hit in its homeland of Great Britain) has been described as a cross between Trainspotting and Pulp Fiction. Tom, Bacon and Soap give their best friend Eddie a wad of cash for a high stakes poker game. It turns out to be a set-up, and Eddie loses it all. Now they all owe an additional $800,000 in one week or gangsters will foreclose on Eddie's father's bar ... and their fingers. What happens from here on is best kept a secret to those who haven't seen the film, as a wild ride of craziness takes these four blokes to the brink of madness, honor, mayhem and trust, as they battle hell-bent to get that money back.
