Synopsis by Janiss Garza
This silent feature, based on a play by Frederic and Fanny Hatton, gives an idea of what people considered "the high life" when the 1920s were about to dawn. Vivacious proto-flapper Olive Thomas plays Alice Chesterton, who is called a "baby vamp" by her friends. She's part of the "county-club set," and this light comedy takes place at a Long Island house party attended by Alice and her fashionable, fast-living young friends -- and aided by their servants, of course! The fun-loving Alice bounces in and out of several mildly diverting dilemmas with society backgrounds -- a polo field, for example -- providing color.
