Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A hard luck coach aims to lead a losing high school football team to victory on the gridiron in this uplifting sports drama. It's been quite a while since The Knights won their last game, but Coach DeAntonio (D.B. Sweeney) believes he has what it takes to inspire these young athletes to victory. Meanwhile, pretty local bartender (Natalie Imbruglia) sets her sights on Coach DeAntonio, and star player John Handon (Charlie Carver) grows angry at teammate Bobby Burkett (Logan Huffman) for romancing a rival team's cheerleader (Maddie Hasson). As the young players struggle to find their footing on the field, it begins to appear as if the growing tensions between John and Bobby can be traced back to their feuding fathers, who are currently locked in a bitter battle over a prized invention.
