Synopsis by Hal Erickson

This Vitagraph three-reeler stars two of the studio's most popular attractions, Anita Stewart and John Emerson. While married businessman John (Emerson) is away on business, his employer takes advantage of his absence by "making whoopee" with John's wife. Upon finding this out, John divorces his faithless spouse and, thoroughly disillusioned with mankind, heads into the mountains. Here he meets Anita (Stewart), a beautiful, unspoiled "girl of the woods." Their subsequent romance is nearly scuttled by the return of John's fickle first wife, who has shed herself of her second husband and now wants Husband Number One back. It is up to John to choose between the two women in his life; fortunately, his choice is the same one that would have been made by every male member of the audience.
