Billy and Sibyl Sayre (Mahlon Hamilton and Francelia Billington) seem to be the perfect couple. But their marital idyll is dimmed -- for Billy, anyway -- when his former sweetheart, Vera Delaunay (Betty Blythe), comes back into the picture. Billy is determined to relive old times with Vera, and as soon as his wife is away, he and his ex-girlfriend head for an Inn that they fondly remember. But reality is far less enchanting than their fantasies -- they suffer through a hellish train ride only to find no taxis at the station. Their walk to the Inn under the hot sun dissolves into a heated argument. So Billy heads home far wiser; luckily his wife hasn't yet returned so he is able to destroy all evidence of his rendez-vous and save his marriage.
