Steven Pacey starred on this British sitcom as the Reverend Clifford James, newly appointed vicar of suburban St. Anselm Church. Youthful, handsome, and unattached, Rev. James somehow managed to attract the attention of every female in the vicinity. Particularly fascinated were the members of the local Young Wives Group, much to the dismay of the group's young husbands. Trouble and Strife was carried by ITV for two seasons and 13 episodes, which aired between November 11, 1985, and August 14, 1986.
