Even though the title of the series is Travels in Europe With Rick Steves, episode 41 finds Rick in Egypt, the traditional cradle of civilization. Starting with the obligatory visits to the Pyramids and the Sphinx, Rick continues onward to Cairo, Luxor, the Temple of Karnak, and the Valley of the Kings. Wrapping things up, Rick embarks upon a "feluca" trip down the Nile and into rural Egypt, virtually unchanged since the days of the Pharoahs.
