Synopsis by Hal Erickson
With memories of Italy still dancing in one's head, viewers accompany the peripatetic Rick Steves to Greece, beginning at the port of Nafplion. After a stopover at the ancient Greek capital of Mycenae, Rick conducts a tour of Athens, including the Acropolis and the Plaka. Then he's off to the ruins of Olympia in the Peloponnesian Peninsula. In the course of this 35th episode of Travels in Europe With Rick Steves, he manages to spend a few inspiring moments at the celebrated (and magnificently preserved) amphitheater of Epidavros.
