Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
An eight-minute film composed of Super-8 footage taken during a family trip to Palestine in the 1970s, filmmaker Nabila Irshaid's celluloid time capsule serves as a curious reminder of how much things can change in so little time. Though reformulating the images as an alluring tourist advertisement, Irshaid uses the nostalgic footage as a means of expressing the loss incurred by the population who currently inhabits the land.
