A guilt-ridden, middle-aged ex-con attempts to reconnect with his meth-addicted daughter after getting released from prison, and gets drawn into a dangerous kidnapping plot that threatens to destroy his life forever. Walter never thought of his family before he went to jail, but years behind bars have a way of changing a man. Upon being released, Walter seeks out his daughter Tori. But years of meth use have turned Toni into a spiteful shell of her former self. When Tori invites Walter to help her and Franklin kidnap a young girl named Tennessee for a large ransom, the ex-con reluctantly agrees. But no one foresaw Walter falling in love with the young victim, and when the frightened victim appears to return his affections, the stage is set for the ultimate betrayal.
