Synopsis
Giacomo Puccini's "Tosca," a 1900 work interweaving the destinies of a prima donna (soprano Raina Kabaivanska), her lover (tenor Placido Domingo) and a sinister police chief (baritone Sherrill Milnes). Sung in Italian; filmed in Roman locales. Bruno Bartoletti conducts the New Philharmonic.
