Synopsis

A chronicle of Toronto from WWII to the beginning of the new millennium. WWII compelled women to become part of the workforce and created strife with local Italians. Following the war Toronto flourished, becoming a major industrial and multicultural center as housing projects developed, Canada's first subway wass built and people from all over made Toronto their home.
