Not dissimilar to such previous British game shows as All Over the Shop and Easy Money, BBC1's Top Tip Challenge was a weekly consumer-quiz offering. On each episode, a panel of celebrities were called upon to solve basic household cleaning and maintenance problems. Those who did so at the least expense and exertion would win valuable prizes for some lucky viewer at home. Hosted by Emma Forbes, Top Tip Challenge debuted in 1998.
