Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Featuring Belgium-born guitarist-harmonica extraodinaire Toots Thielmans, this live performance was originally captured on film in 1988, when Thielmans, along with his band, delivered an invigorating and eclectic concert at one of New Orleans' most notable Bourban St. locales, namely, Lulu White's Mahogany Hall. Songs featured include "The Days of Wine and Roses", "Three in One", "The Meaning of the Blues," and Bluesette". Thielmans is accompanied by pianist Fred Hersch, bassist Harvie Swartz, and drummer Adam Nussbaum.
