Synopsis by Nathan Southern
British actor, comic and politico Tony Robinson rose to fame on the crest of the UK period farce Black Adder (1983-89), co-starring himself (as the schemer Baldrick) and Rowan Atkinson, but subsequently emceed such straight-faced documentary series as Time Team and The Worst Jobs in History. Through it all, Robinson retained and evinced a great, deep-seated passion for history. Now, in the one-man stage show Tony Robinson's Cunning Night Out!, Robinson delivers a comic monologue before an audience that interweaves the course of history itself with anecdotes from his own life story, familial experiences and adventures in film and theater.
