Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Peter Mak Tai-Li directs this low-budget, critically panned spy parody flick. Terry (Teddy Robin Kwan) is the nebbish manager of an all-girls rock band which is about to get their big commercial break. Just before the big concert, Terry happens upon a beautiful young lass who dies in his arms, but not before planting some top-secret microfilm in his car. Later, he is surprised to discover that she was an undercover agent from the Taiwanese secret service and that she was killed by a ruthless band of Japanese spies (Eric Kot Man-fai and Jan Lam Hoi-fung) who have started to tail Terry. He eventually learns that the subterfuge and intrigue revolve around a subterranean war in which the Taiwanese are trying to take back treasures robbed from them by the Japanese during WWII.
