Synopsis by Betsy Boyd
Time Warp: 1964 is a veritable time capsule of historic black-and-white film footage from 1964 America. The 85-minute program features performances by and interviews with Roy Orbison, Lyndon Johnson, the Beatles, Cassius Clay, Manfred Mann, Martin Luther King, and many more icons of the flower-power, peace-promoting, peace-destroying early '60s. The Time Warp video series looks at the kitsch and culture of the 1950s and 1960s with a sense of humor and an ironic edge.
