Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The charming Billie Whitelaw starred in this British sitcom as Peggy Spencer, who had inherited a seedy boarding house. Despite the financial difficulties attending this establishment, not to mention the hostile behavior of the tenants, plucky Peggy elected to hold on to the house and try to make a go of it. Diana King costarred as Norma Burke. Created by Budd Grossman, Time Out for Peggy premiered over Britain's ABC network on March 30, 1958, lasting 24 half-hour episodes before it was locked out in mid-1959.
