This World War II-era short film, Tigers and Lightnings: China Crisis, tells the story of the Flying Tigers, a group of volunteer mercenaries who left the Army Air Corps to fight the Japanese in an unconventional way. These hotshot American flyers risked their lives for their country and collected a bounty on each Japanese plane they bagged.
