Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The Tiger Man is outlaw Hawk Parkins, played by William S. Hart. A natural-born hellraiser, Hawk escapes from jail and heads for the desert in the company of his equally rowdy pals. While shepherding his chums through the desert wastes, Hawk rescues Rev. Ingram (Robert Lawrence) and Ingram's wife Ruth (Jane Novak) from dying of thirst. While eluding a band of Apaches, Hawk manages to separate himself from the rest of his party, forcibly taking Ruth along with him. Intending to "have his way" with the woman, Hawk changes his mind when he is touched by Ruth's essential decency. A changed man, our hero dedicates himself to helping Rev. Ingram establish a frontier church -- using his usual strong-arm tactics to keep the local rowdies from causing any further trouble for the Reverend and his wife.
