His enemies attempt to persuade his girl (Charlotte Pierce) that he is a coward but Dick proves himself by catching a gang of crooks. When the crooks are discovered to be behind a series of arson fires, Dick is reinstated with honors. Director Jack Nelson's trained dog, Pal, appeared here as the fire brigade's mascot, Sparks.
