In yet another of his silent action melodramas for low-budget producer Phil Goldstone, former acrobat Richard Talmadge played Dan Merrill, a fire fighter discharged from service because of his inability to tolerate smoke (!) His enemies attempt to persuade his girl (Charlotte Pierce) that he is a coward but Dick proves himself by catching a gang of crooks. When the crooks are discovered to be behind a series of arson fires, Dick is reinstated with honors. Director Jack Nelson's trained dog, Pal, appeared here as the fire brigade's mascot, Sparks.
